Ballymac Floss bitches
Well these two are so well bred Royal Impact x Ballymac Floss. They are coming along nicely having had 2 hand slips at Tralee chasing hard. Been in the boxes at home and ready for a sprint trial in the next 10 days. They should come on again in the next few weeks.

Boots the monster!
Boots is growing fast - he's in the paddock with a 12 month old pup and Boots is bigger than him and only 8 months old. Patience going to be the name of the game with this fella.
Well done to Newmac King 2 out of 2 at Romford over 575 metres - new owner well pleased having backed him both times - onwards and upwards King.

Two cracking bitches
Recently we have purchased two cracking looking 5 month old bitches out of Kinloch Brae * x Heatherhill Lass
Very well bred so fingers crossed in 8-9 months time we have some luck with them.
The Ballymac Floss bitches have been hand slipped and both went round no problems, another hand slip next week and then possibly we go for an unrecorded out of traps. No rush with them, patience as always.
The King has graded in at Romford - new owner thinks he'll start off in S2 over 575 metres so I'll be keeping an eye out for him.
Back to work now it's been really busy lately :-)

The King is SOLD
I'd like to wish his new owners the very best of luck with him and hopefully he'll get some inside draws and go on to win many races for his new owners.
We are now concentrating, waiting in anticipation for the schooling of Ballymac Razl's half sisters (2xblack bitches) which are called Ballymac Swift and Ballymac Boudica - fingers crossed!
The Ace Hi Rumble x Corporate Lady dog pup is now 6 months old and his frame is as big as some 12 month old saplings - his feet are huge and his nickname is "Boots" race name will be Two Badgers - he's sure to be an 80 pounder and if he can run as good as he looks.....we'll keep dreaming :-)
Here is Boots taking it easy after a gallop across the field.
Once again good luck to the King over the pond!

Newmac King latest plans and update on new Pups
Still can't believe after 6 races the King has not drawn trap 1,2 or 3 and he's a railer - so much for random draws! Does make you wonder.
Anyway he's won 2 from 6 out of the wrong box so we know there is some time in him yet and a fastest time of the night 29.06 on Lee Strand night was still an excellent performance and worthy of shaving a few lengths off that time in my opinion had he been drawn closer to the rail.
We have 3 pups coming through, 2 bitches out of Ballymac Floss by Royal Impact and a huge (for his age) dog pup out of Corporate Lady by Ace Hi Rumble all of them look the part and cannot fault their breeding so fingers crossed.
The King will shortly be stepped up in trip, hopefully for a 570 A2 stake or if possible a novice A2 750 as we think he'll make in to a good stayer and depending on the results of those races it is more than likely we'll put him up for sale and should the new owner be based in Britain we think he'll make in to a decent stayer over the pond, he'll certainly have more opportunities and better trap draws than he has had so far in Ireland!
Cheers, Richard

The King wins A4 stake at Tralee
We were very pleased on Saturday 4th June with The King - winning in the FTON for 525 yards in 29.06 (track at least 20 slow) now up to A1 and surely Open class beckons as there is plenty of improvement to come.
A stepping stone to bigger things all being well and a step up in trip likely for his next race 550+ yards.
The stadium was full of spectators being the Final of the Lee Strand and a great atmosphere although it went very quiet as the King got up by a short head to beat the odds on jolly, not for the first time the King has done an odds on jolly - seems to be a good habit of his :-)
