Ballymac Swift

We decided to keep Swift for ourselves for at least 6 months and see where she is at 2 years old. The offers we received for her were pretty derogatory - seems the game has gone in UK when people offer a pittance for such well bred pups.

So we'll keep her at home and hopefully she'll improve. The breeding says she should, Liam Dowling thinks she should so we take the chance ourselves.

We still have 3 young pups to be schooled in April\May so fingers crossed we have something useful amongst them.

RIP Dior

Sorry to have to post up that we lost Dior today - Tumor in her womb.

She was 8 years old and we had her at home for 5+ years. You don't realise how much you miss them until they are gone, all of us are very sad.

But, I remember the good times with her, the Red FM night was brilliant for us, to us it was like winning the Oaks! She gave us 3 litters of pups that I am proud of. To move to Ireland and breed a few litters in the Cork countryside has been an experience many would love to do.

I'll never forget the time I took Dior to race at Curraheen Park rubbing shoulders with Paul Hennessy in the pre kennelling area and telling him his dog looked a few pound under weight -Hennessy's dog trounced us LOL!
